蘇明村簡介資料整理：聖樂委員會辦事處(二零零八年)

　　蘇明村年幼時跟隨黃梁秀珊女士學習鋼琴，其後赴英國皇家音樂學院深造，學習鋼琴、管風琴及指揮。蘇氏先後獲得倫敦大學學士學位，列定(Reading)大學碩士學位與高級音樂研究文憑；和列斯特(Leicester)大學博士榮銜。

　　蘇氏多年來活躍於樂壇，除了在香港經常作獨奏、伴奏及指揮演出外，他亦常被應邀海外包括：英國、比利時、以色列、加拿大、美國、澳洲、台灣和內地等地方作表演。他曾任長風合唱團駐團指揮、香港兒童合唱團伴奏，亦曾出任香港中文大學、香港大學音樂系鋼琴導師和浸會大學音樂系講師。蘇氏一直致力於音樂教育工作者的培育工作，現任香港教育學院文理學院文化與創意藝術學系音樂部助理教授。

　　另外，蘇氏亦擔任中山市文聯文藝培訓中心藝術顧問、廣東省雲安縣教育局前鋒鎮音樂教學顧問，和天主教香港教區聖樂委員會主席。他亦於報章雜誌撰寫專欄和擔任音樂比賽的評判。
